Gap Year Students

Gap Year Students

St Paulís regularly has Gap year students working at the school, as a way to increase the children's exposure to native English speakers and culture. Gap students normally stay for at least four months and help out in the English department as required.

Testimonials from "Gappers"

"I spent a year in Argentina as part of my course at University, four months of which I worked at St Pauls College. These four months were the best of my year abroad - an amazing school, with so much to offer to both the students and the teachers. I had an INCREDIBLE time and will really miss everyone. Good luck for next year and I am looking forward to visiting after university!"

"I was lucky enough to spend a semester at St Paul's College in 2009. It was an amazing experience that gave me a valuable insight into what makes a great teacher. Everyone is very dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming school/family environment and the bilingual teachers are a real example of passionate and motivated workers. I had so much fun and if time had permitted I would have stayed a lot longer. I've made some life long friends and I hope to return very soon"

"I spent one semester as a Gap Year student at St. Paulís College in 2004. While I was there to help teach students, I really felt like I learned a lot myself. Everyone at the school was so great, and I still keep in touch with many of the teachers and students after all of these years! Working at St. Paulís was honestly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I highly recommend it to any potential future Gap Year students."
